A continuation of the Explorer Route, the Ridgewalker Route crosses the suspension bridge and heads up the Banff Mt Norquay cliffs to the Ridgewalker Summit, climbing Memorial, Sol and Vista buttresses. Rest assured, no experience is required as this is a guided experience and the Norquay Via Ferrata is designed to accommodate both beginners seeking a taste of the alpine and those who already have a little alpine experience. This loop takes you up to 2,300 metres above sea level and is great for families. The Norquay Via Ferrata is conveniently located a five minute drive from the Banff townsite on the cliffs above the Mt Norquay Ski Resort.

Get a taste of the mountain air with a trail ride along the base of Sulphur Mountain to a delicious BBQ dinner. Relax at 3 Mile Cabin by the Sundance Canyon Trail. While the guides cook your meal try your hand at calf roping or a game of horseshoes. Return ride will take you through Windy Knoll an off the beaten track route through the mountains and forest.
Note: Children under 6 will be taken to the BBQ site by covered wagon and have to be accompanied in the wagon by an adult.
Dinner Menu: BBQ steak, home-made baked beans, baked potatoes, caesar salad, rolls, dessert, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate. Vegetarian option available.

Head out for a gondola ride up to 7,700 feet for a mountaintop lunch at Canada's highest restaurant, and then take a chairlift ride up to the world's largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat.
Making a stop at the Grizzly Bear Refuge have the chance to see Boo! An orphaned bear as a cub he was rescued and now lives in the 20-acre Rocky Mountain forest. Here you can view Boo and his friends explore, hunt and forage just like in the wild. You’ll also hear his personal story and learn about grizzly bear behaviour during your visit to the largest enclosed grizzly bear habitat in the world.
