Campbell River Experiences

Journey to the Orford River Valley aboard a comfortable, high-speed covered vessel where you will be taken on to the traditional territory of the Homalco First Nation via bus to a series of viewing platforms. The Orford River offers some of the best Grizzly Bear viewings on the West Coast and we can guarantee that this tour will be the experience of a lifetime. When travelling to Orford, time will be prioritized to view whales and wildlife along the way. This tour includes lunch, hot beverages and a light snack.

Small Group Tour

With an abundance of wildlife in the area, you are likely to encounter Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Pacific White-Sided Dolphins, Bears, Steller Sea Lions, and so much more. While they can't guarantee all of these animals on every tour, Campbell River Whale Watching takes pride in each of the tours and takes every opportunity to show guests everything that is possible during their tour.

This incredible kayaking and whale watching adventure will transport you into the heart of the wilderness teeming with wildlife. You will spend half the day kayaking in areas known to have wildlife and half the day on a whale watching excursion aboard a covered vessel "Wild 1", featuring an open viewing deck. Combining these two adventures maximizes your wildlife encounters and access areas otherwise out of reach to a single day tour. The tour includes lunch, hot beverages and a light snack.

Duration: 5 hours

Hook into salmon on our guided fishing adventure! While visiting Campbell River, why not try your hand at perhaps the most iconic activity we have to offer. Private fishing charters offer the opportunity to catch chinook salmon, coho, chump, pink, sockeye, and ling cod. Our professional and experienced guides supply all the equipment and will teach you how to use it.
