Old Rittenhouse Inn

The Old Rittenhouse Inn is Bayfield’s first Country Inn and gourmet restaurant and offers 20 guest rooms in 2 Victorian homes plus a private cottage with fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and spectacular Lake Superior views.  This romantic hotel feels like home from the moment you step inside, with all the comforts and none of the demands.

Old Rittenhouse Inn is a nationally known bed and breakfast, country inn, small elegant hotel, and gourmet restaurant.

The Landmark Restaurant creates made-from-scratch upscale American and French cuisine that will tempt your palate and excite your taste buds. Open for breakfast, lunch (by appointment) and dinner.  The restaurant has a full license and offers fine wines, cocktails, specialty drinks, along with imported and domestic beers. Finish your meal with the sweet conclusion: hot fudge, rum, or turtle sundaes, or one of the fabulous fresh baked desserts.

Old Rittenhouse Inn is located just blocks from Lake Superior and home of the Apostle Islands in “The Best Little Town in the Midwest” – Bayfield, WI.
