Day 1 - UK to Calgary Transfer to Banff

Day 2 - Discover Banff & Its Wildlife with Gondola

This small group tour is the perfect introduction to Banff and includes some of Banff's most scenic and historically significant highlights such as the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, and Banff's largest lake, Lake Minnewanka. Plus, enjoy hot chocolate or fresh water (depending on the time of year) and maple cookies at one of the scenic stops. You'll then be transported to the base of Sulphur Mountain and ride the Banff Gondola to the top at 7,486 feet. At the summit, marvel at the unsurpassed view of Banff, the Bow Valley and a 360-degree view of six scenic mountain ranges. You'll feel like you're on top of the world when you are standing on the spacious main level observation deck. After your download on the Banff Gondola, the guide will transport you back to your Banff hotel. It's a great tour for seeing wildlife, so don't forget your camera!

Day 3 - Columbia Icefield Discovery

Experience the power of glaciers up-close on this exciting tour that highlights the most unique attraction in the Canadian Rockies; the Columbia Icefield Adventure. Travel on a massive Ice Explorer onto an ancient glacier and step out onto ice that is deep enough to bury the Eiffel Tower. Stand in the sky at the Glacier Skywalk, a curved glass walkway that stretches 30 metres from the sheer face of a cliff and hangs mid-air. This tour is filled with exciting experiences, spectacular sights, intriguing stories and the best photo opportunities.

Day 5 - Rocky Mountaineer Banff to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie – where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.

Overnight in Kamloops. Breakfast and Lunch included. (Hotel is provided by Rocky Mountaineer)

Day 6 - Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Day 7 - Vancouer City Highlights

Today we have included the Vancouver City Highlights tour. Prepare to experience the unique history and unfolding splendour as you tour through the modern streets of Vancouver. Drive by the most renowned sights and learn how Vancouver became the city it is today. Situated on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and framed by British Columbia's imposing mountains, it's easy to fall in love with this astonishing city. Drive through historic neighbourhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, scenic English Bay and the picturesque Vancouver Harbour. Stops in Stanley Park feature Indigenous Peoples' Totem Poles, spectacular views of the mountains and the Lions Gate Bridge. Also includes the opportunity to wander through the charming farmer's market at Granville Island.

Day 11 - Ketchikan, Alaska

Welcome to Ketchikan  the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’ and the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, famed for carving the world’s largest collection of totem poles. For those seeking adventure, paddle a canoe through the lush rainforest or embark on a wilderness exploration, capped off with a memorable crab feast you won’t soon forget.

Day 12 - Sitka, Alaska

Nestled on Baranof Island along Alaska’s scenic Inside Passage, Sitka is a charming coastal town rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Once the capital of Russian America, Sitka blends Russian, Tlingit, and American influences, evident in its historic buildings, totem poles, and local traditions. Surrounded by lush rainforest and dramatic mountain scenery, Sitka offers stunning views, abundant wildlife, and opportunities for outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, and fishing. Day 13 - Cruising Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

The narrow Tracy Arm Fjord winds its way through the breathtaking Tongass National Forest, flanked by towering granite cliffs rising 300 feet high. Meltwater from snow-capped peaks spills down as waterfalls, lining the shores alongside trees that cling at unlikely angles to the rugged rock. Keep watch for the diverse wildlife that calls this icy haven home from black and brown bears to wolves, deer, moose, seals, and even whales. At the fjord’s end, take in the awe-inspiring sight of the Sawyer Glaciers, dramatically framed by majestic mountains.

Day 14 - Prince Rupert, Canada

The City of Prince Rupert is situated in a sheltered inner harbour and protected by a rim of islands along the famed Inside Passage. The city enjoys both a strategic and scenic location that has long made it an important maritime gateway.
