Day 2 - Los Angeles - Mojave - Laughlin 287 miles

Drive through the Mojave Desert for Laughlin, an Oasis town bordered by the desert and the Colorado River.

Day 3 - Laughlin - Grand Canyon 200 miles

Drive a section of Route 66 then turn North for the Grand Canyon. Spend the afternoon on the South Rim, walk part of the rim trail and spend some time at one of the many photo hotspots.

Day 4 - Grand Canyon - Painted Desert -Monument Valley (Kayenta) 158 miles

Early risers can be rewarded by sunrise over the Grand Canyon, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Then travel east through the Painted Desert and Navajo Nation Indian Reservation, before arriving at the spectacular Monument Valley Tribal Park.
