Favourite Place: 

Muskoka Lakes – wonderful scenery, rustic charm, butter tarts and creemore springs ale

Favourite hotel:

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara – perfect for families. We had a big room with an internal bunkhouse that had 2 bunk beds, so we could easily sleep 6 in a room which is unusual. The hotel had an indoor waterpark and crazy golf, it was difficult to drag the kids away

Favourite attractions:

Capilano Bridge, Banff Gondola, Granville Island, CN Tower, Niagara on the Lake Vineyard Tour. Kensington Market

Favourite restaurant:

Webers on Highway 11. Half way between Toronto and Algonquin Webers offers traditional burgers and hot dogs, it feels like a real throwback and has a couple of old rail carriages that you can eat in, all very quirky

Top tip:

Make sure you get a Beavertail - a delicious Canadian sweet treat 

Things to look out for:

Try and catch one of the Canadian sporting team games, either baseball, basketball or ice hockey
