Now that you have booked your Silversea Cruise, you may have some questions about your holiday before you board. We have put together a collection of commonly asked questions to help make your cruising experience hassle free.
Once your booking has been confirmed, please register an account with My Silversea online. Your name, email and cruise reference are required to set up an account.
Managing your booking is simple: log onto My Silversea and explore the wide range of personalised options to enhance your cruising experience. Your cruise itinerary will be clearly defined, and you will have access to book shore excursions, various activities, and services on board. With your Silversea voyage, selected excursions are included, so take advantage and book direct with the cruise. This also ensures you are not left behind. Checking your cruise personaliser regularly will give you a chance to familiarise yourself with the ship and its experiences.
Once your reservation is made, you can book shore excursions on My Silversea. If you wish to reserve a specialty restaurant, or a beauty, fitness or spa service, you can do this from 120 days before you sail.
Before You Go Checklist
Documents you will need
**Please note that the above documentation is mandatory for all guests, you will be refused boarding if you do not have the required documents.**
Checking in
Silversea passengers are not required to check in online for their booking. Once you embark the cruise, the staff will take your passport and personally check you in. From there, you will be escorted to your suite. It is the guests own responsibility to arrive on time for boarding, and while it is highly recommended to ensure you are ready to board during your embarkation slot those who fail to be on board at least 60 minutes prior to departure will be denied boarding.
Please refer to your My Canada Trips booking confirmation for the cruise package inclusions included in your itinerary.
Silversea all-inclusive really means everything is included. Their all-inclusive offers at least one shore excursion per port, multiple dining options, complimentary beverages (including your in-suite bar), on-board activities, staff gratuities, and a butler for every suite.
If you require to store your bag after your cruise to explore Vancouver before travelling to the airport you can do it at the Cruise Pier (Canada Place):
We highly recommend booking a space in advanced as spaces are quickly booked up during busy periods. Storage lockers opened from 8am - 5pm on cruise sailing days.
As your cruise travels into USA waters on its journey to Alaska you do require a ESTA to board your cruise.
When filling out your ESTA you will be asked ‘Is your travel to the US occurring in transit to another country?’ Select NO. You will then be asked for U.S. Point of Contact Information. For your cruise you should enter the cruise lines head office address and phone number.
