Tadoussac is a village of 800 souls situated in the North Shore tourist region of Quebec at the maritime junction of the St. Lawrence River and the Saguenay Fjord. People have been meeting, celebrating and exchanging here for thousands of years! Originally First Nations who met each other here. Europeans settled in the area much later, at the beginning of the 17th century.

At the headwaters of the St. Lawrence estuary, the cold waters of Anse a la Cave flow into the great depths, creating a fantastic viewing area for whales and marine mammals as they migrate, play and feed. This unique sea kayaking excursion will bring you close to the marine wildlife under the supervision of professional guides, all within view of the coast. The activity begins with a lesson on land, and participants will be very comfortable with three hours of kayaking that follows. With the use of double kayaks, the activity is suitable for all kayaking abilities.

Explore the Fjord-du-Saguenay from Tadoussac! This cruise will take you through the fjord and its grandiose landscapes to the village of L’Anse-Saint-Jean, which you will be able to discover thanks to your one hour and thirty minute stopover. Take the opportunity to take a gourmet break during your stopover and even soak your feet in the Saguenay for a few minutes at the beach! During your return by boat towards Tadoussac, you will approach the statue of Notre-Damedu-Saguenay and be able to admire the highest capes of the fjord.
